Wael Ghoneim, Executive at Google

Wael Ghoneim is a young man of 30 years, an executive at Google. On January 25 he called to a demonstration to protest against the Egyptian regime. He was the responsible for the manifestation for a pro-democracy in Egypt.
Ghoneim is a marketing director at Google for Middle East and North America. He lives in Dubai. Two days before the revolt against Mubarak, he had traveled to Egypt. Ghoneim was eventually arrested on January 27 and was released 12 days later.

I am against dictatorships. And despite the achieved peace in the Middle East, Mubarak does not seem the solution to Egypt. However, I don't see a good end in revolutions with no alternatives. These revolutions are the first step towards war in the interest of many, including the sellers of weapons and vultures of the battlefield. Egypt would have many, surrounding its museums…

I wondered, "Who is this Ghoneim?". Knowing little about him, and having visited his Facebook page, the first impression was not a very good one...

I have nothing against those who inspire Ghoneim. But the inspirations of Ghoneim show him a weird revolutionary ... at least, he stands for what he is fighting against…
